Thought-piece on sustainability
Mitesh recently wrote a thought piece in which he argued that cannabis companies should be prioritising environmental sustainability, not only for the sake of our planet, but also to help improve their attractiveness to investors as sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) have become a hot topic when it comes to investing.
People think of cannabis as a green industry and the plant is intrinsically environmentally friendly, but too often large scale cultivation can actually leave a massive environmental footprint. There are good practices, such as those that AltoVerde has adopted, that can reduce this.
